Caregiver and home aide support in Phoenix

Day-to-day help at home, arranged through our mobile team. It is private pay, so there is no insurance approval to wait for.

The short answer
AllOne Healthcare arranges caregiver and home aide support for people who need help at home with everyday things like bathing, dressing, meals and moving around safely. It is arranged through our mobile team, and it is private pay: it does not go through insurance, so it does not need an insurance approval or a doctor's order.
What it covers

Help with the everyday things

Caregiver support is non-medical help at home. It is for the parts of the day that have become hard to manage alone, or hard for a family to cover.

  • Personal care. Help with bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
  • Mobility and transfers. Help getting up, walking, and moving safely around the house.
  • Meals. Meal preparation, and help at mealtimes.
  • Around the house. Light housekeeping and laundry, so the home stays safe to move in.
  • Medication reminders. Reminders to take medications on schedule.
  • Company. Conversation and companionship, so the day is not spent alone.
How it works

Arranged through our mobile team

Call our mobile team at (480) 389-4081 and describe what help is needed and where. We will tell you what we can arrange, the cost and the availability for your area before anything is booked.

Because it is private pay, there is no insurance verification step and no referral or physician's order to wait for.

If the person you care for is also having in-home physical therapy with us, the therapist can show family members and aides how to help with transfers and walking safely, and how to support the home exercise program between visits. That part is physical therapy, billed to insurance as usual.

What it is not

Not home health, and not nursing

AllOne Healthcare does not provide skilled nursing or medical social work, and caregiver support is not Medicare home health. If someone needs nursing care or social work at home, we can point you to partner agencies that provide it. For how Medicare home health works, see what Medicare home health covers.

Common questions

Questions families ask

Is caregiver support covered by insurance or Medicare?

No. Caregiver and home aide support is private pay, paid directly. Because it does not go through insurance, it does not need an insurance approval, a referral or a physician's order.

Is this the same as home health?

No. AllOne Healthcare does not provide skilled nursing or medical social work, and caregiver support is not Medicare home health. If you need nursing or social work, we can point you to partner agencies that provide it.

Can caregiver support be combined with in-home physical therapy?

Yes. Both are arranged through our mobile team. In-home physical therapy is billed to insurance as usual; caregiver support is private pay and arranged separately.
